NWCS Spring 2013 – Week 07 – 04/13/2013
Hello everyone,
This Saturday many classes are having their midterm exams, so good luck to the students. There is still time to study, so don’t stop now!
I am always amazed by our students’ accomplishments in and out of the Chinese School and I am always honored when parents share their proud stories of their children with me. Please join me in congratulating Asa Wong who won 1st place in Biotechnology, receiving the Alexion Biotechnology Award at Quinnipiac University. Congratulations, Asa!
And that’s not all! Erin Yang will be performing at The 6th RISING STARS CONCERT. It is a concert of music, classical and contemporary works, from the West and East. The performers are Asian American Students, ages 8 to 18, who were selected via audition by a panel of judges. The concert is free and it is on April 27th. Mark your calendars. Congratulations, Erin!
Our board member, Dr. Lynn Winters, would like to remind you that we will still accept your orders for NWCS t-shirts this Saturday, April 13th. Drop off the order form and payment with Lynn or Terry in the BMS cafeteria any time between 9 am and 12 noon. All profits help to support NWCS programs. And we thank you for your support:
