Dear NWCS Families,

As we mentioned on Saturday, It’s time again for the Chinese New Year raffle! As usual, we have some terrific prizes, including the following:

• FOUR round-trip tickets on JetBlue! (the tickets are available starting June 2022)
• Apple AirPods Pro!
• Gift cards to Aberdeen Seafood & Dim Sum (White Plains) and Dai Sushi (Pleasantville)! 
• Lots of other great prizes!

Here are the details:

WHEN:

Drawing will take place on Saturday, January 8 after the Chinese New Year performance. You do not need to be present in order to win.

TICKET PRICES: 

$5 for 1 ticket, $10 for 3 tickets, $20 for 10 tickets and $40 for 25 tickets (the best deal!).

HOW TO BUY: 

1) Carolyn Koo will sell tickets in the cafeteria at school on 12/18 and 1/8.

2) If you’re not at school, you can also purchase tickets by emailing Carolyn at tingting98@gmail.com with the number of tickets and she will reply with payment instructions via Venmo, Zelle, or sending a check.

A reminder that the students who did their summer homework will automatically get 10 tickets. Their raffle ticket numbers will be emailed to their parents before the drawing.

Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the Chinese New Year raffle! A big thank you to all the families and teachers that have already bought some!

1) Via PayPal/Credit Card — Visit the school’s website and look on the right-hand side for the RAFFLE TICKETS!!! section.

2) Via check – Make checks out to “Northern Westchester Chinese School”, and mail them to me, Carolyn Koo, at <please email for mailing address>. Please also email me at tingting98 at gmail.com with a heads up regarding your purchase so that I know to expect your check.

Once tickets are purchased, I will follow up via email with your ticket numbers for reference. You will not get physical tickets this year — just the numbers.
