Hello Everyone,

This is a reminder that NWCS annual Chinese New Year Celebration and graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 10^th. Like last year, we will begin the event during the morning after class finals. The ceremony will be held at the Briarcliff High School Auditorium, followed by lunch in the cafeteria and then the carnival in the gym. Approximate times are:

Graduation and Class Performances – 10:00 am to 12:30

Lunch – 12:30 to 1:30 pm

Carnival – 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

We will begin selling tickets for the lunch (see attached for menu) and carnival on Saturday 12^th. All tickets (adults and children) are $15. We will be offering a menu of lunch boxes from which you can pre-order your lunch selection.

For the carnival, we will have games and arts and crafts, where kids can earn tickets to redeem for prizes. You can contribute to this effort by donating items for prizes such small toys, games and crafts, which your kids have not used or gently used or outgrown (recycling!). We will start collecting these on Saturday also.

Finally, we will need volunteers for the following:

Lunch set-up and distribution

Clean-up after lunch

Oversee games and selling snacks such as pop-corn and juice.

Please email me or see me if you can volunteer. I will be selling the tickets in the cafeteria.
