NWCS Open House September 15, 2018
NWCS will have an open house this Saturday, September 15th from 10AM-12 noon. Anyone interested in learning about our language programs and electives is invited visit.
You can talk to teachers, watch a class, and meet members of the school community. Click here to view the open house flyer.
2018年海外華裔青年語文研習班開始招生
僑務委員會為提升海外華裔青（少）年華語文能力，認識傳統中華文化與臺灣多元文化，瞭解中華民國進步發展現況，並促進海內外青年互動交流，「2018年海外華裔青年語文研習班」開始招生，歡迎年滿12足歲至未滿24歲（以護照所載出生日期為憑）之華裔青年報名參加。
本年度分為4期開課：
- 第1期上課時間為2018年1月3日至2月13日，課程總計6週，開辦前6個月受理報名。
- 第2期上課時間為2018年7月5日至8月14日，18足歲以上至未滿24歲，課程總計6週，報名時間為2018年1月1日至2月28日，額滿為止。
- 第3期暑期青少年班上課時間為2018年7月6日至8月15日，限12足歲以上至未滿18歲，課程總計6週，報名時間為2017年1月1日至2月28日，額滿為止。
- 第4期上課時間為12月19日至2019年1月15日，課程總計4週，開辦前6個月受理報名。
研習課程內容包括：週一至週五華語文、民俗技藝、文化研習課程，影片欣賞、晚間有晚自習、休閒活動或輔助教學;每週並安排教學參觀及寶島攬勝等戶外活動。
研習費用：學員自付費用（包括膳食費、住宿費及保險費）：6週班新臺幣24,000元；4週班新臺幣18,500元。

NWCS Open House starting at 10 AM on September 16th!
Our school will be having an Open House on September 16th from 10 to 11 AM. Anyone interested and Chinese language and cultural programs for their children are invited. Speak with teachers and staff, observe classes, and get to know our community!

WACA Chinese New Year Festival, Feb 25

We are excited to see the enthusiast responses for the New Year Festival so far!
We have an excellent list of the shows signed up by professionals and local artist groups, as well as fun activities and delicious food samples.
As you know, the Performing Arts Center at SUNY Purchase is a great venue for such festival and great shows.

This year’s picnic is on June 11 at FDR Park, after the finals and move up ceremony. There is an $8 parking fee at the park, so carpool if you can.
